My Alexa still does not ring, what should I do?

First, check the setup instructions here to ensure that you installed everything correctly. If it still does not work, go to your Alexa App and check under devices to see whether the "Do not disturb" mode of your Alexa devices is disabled. Lastly, ensure that each Alexa has the "Communication" setting enabled in the device settings. If this still does not fix the problem, do not hesitate to contact us at Info@MyDoorbell.app .

Does the Skill support videostreaming on Echo Show?

No, unfortunately the Skill does not support a videostream yet, but we are working on that.

Does the Skill support 3rd party devices with Amazon Alexa?

Unfortunately it is not possible to send a Doorbell Press Announcement to a 3rd party device with Alexa support yet.

Can I open my door with this Alexa Skill?

No, for your own security there is no such function provided. Our Skill does not interact with your doorbell — only the other way around.

Can I disable or change the "Your Doorbird has a visitor" message?

Unfortunately it is not possible to disable this Announcement yet, because Amazon wants you to know which device is ringing. But it is possible to change your doorbell's name in this Announcement. Therefore you just need to edit your doorbell's name in the Alexa app. It is possible that you would need to change your ringtone too, to save the changes you have made. (But you can change the ringtone back after one test-run)

Can I set up multiple HTTP(S) Calls in the Doorbird app?

No. Unfortunately the Doorbird App does not offer this feature.

How to change my password?

Therefore your would need to go to our website ( https://mydoorbell.app/ ). There you can find a "Sign up"-button in the right top corner. (when you open it on your mobile phone, you first need to open the menu in the right top corner). After pressing that button you will be redirected to our authentication-page, where you would need to choose "Log In". There you can find the "Don't remember your password?"-button. By pressing that button, you will get the opportunity to reset your passwort.
